In this class, we will consider artists's books and Ana Castillo's novel in light of their hypertextual effects. These texts illustrate a formal connection between print and electronic hypertexts. Investigating Castillo's novel in particular as an example of print hypertext will show us something about the structural, formal, and aesthetic logic of hypertext itself.
